After 51 episodes of love and war, 'Empress Qi' came to an end this week at #1!
According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, the April 29th finale of MBC's 'Empress Qi' achieved a 28.7% viewer rating, which is a 2.5% increase from its previous viewer rating of 26.2%.
KBS 2TV's 'Big Man' premiered with a 6.0% viewer rating but fell 1.2% to 4.8% for its second episode. SBS' 'Curious Story Y Special' achieved a 4.4% viewer rating.
MBC's 'Triangle' will premiere following 'Empress Qi', and SBS' 'Doctor Stranger' will premiere as well on May 5!

On April 29, 15&'s Park Ji Min and Baek Ye Rin discussed the advantages of working together on the SBS radio program 'Kim Chang Ryul's Old School'.
Park Ji Min said, "I'm a lot less nervous on stage because there are two of us. We even encourage each other by exchanging glances. I still get very nervous for live broadcasts, but I get a bit less nervous when I go up on stage."
Baek Ye Rin said, "It's different for each stage, but I'm much less nervous on big stages. I think I'm more nervous on small stages because the fans are closer."
Park Si Hwan gave his two cents on the adorable duo: "This is really nice to see. I wanted to debut as part of a group too, so I'm envious."

On April 29, singer Park Si Hwan appeared as a guest on SBS radio show 'Kim Chang Ryul's Old School' and talked about singing love songs despite having no dating experience as a 'motae solo'.
He said, "It is always my goal to get a girlfriend. When I get more free time after focusing on this album, I want to meet a lot of people. She might be someone among them." For his ideal type, he said he liked a woman with a pretty voice.
DJ Kim Chang Ryul then said, "You might not be able to capture the emotions when singing love songs." Park Si Hwan replied, "I, of course, used my imagination when singing songs. For this album, I used my experiences in one-sided love as the foundation."
He continued, "Although I am still young, I sang while thinking of my experiences with liking someone. When it's really hard to capture the emotion, I either watch a movie or listen to another person's experiences."

SECRET's Hyosung, one of the most well known 'bagel girl' in Korea, revealed that even though she has the looks and personality, dating is difficult for her in her interview with 'Sure'!
Hyosung looked like a million bucks in simple tops with her cute smile and glamorous figure for her solo spread to gradually prepare us for her upcoming solo debut this May.
Regarding for her solo debut,the idol said, "I want to show a different image from SECRET. I want to show a refreshing image that suits me well and hasn't been done before."
When asked, "Aren't you a 'motae solo' [person who has never dated before]?", Hyosung confessed, "Does it show a lot?... Dating is difficult... If someone shows interest in me, I get thrilled but I don't know what to do about it. It's worse when a person I like suddenly tells me that he likes me. I think about it and in the end, I end up by myself... It's been a long time since I felt my heart pitapat."

5urprise member and rookie actor Seo Kang Jun picked 2NE1's Park Bom as one of the fun points of their upcoming SBS variety show 'Roommate'!
During a recent interview with Sports Donga, Seo Kang Jun revealed his reason for joining 'Roommate', "Since variety shows are a field I haven't done yet, I definitely wanted to do it. After appearing on 'Radio Star', I had let go of my thoughts of becoming an MC but I got a casting offer as a participant for this new reality show, so I thankfully decided to accept... Since an actor shines as his character, there aren't many opportunities to show one's real self so through 'Roommate', I hope to get close with viewers."
When asked to name something to look for in the upcoming show, Seo Kang Jun pointed out without hesitation, "Please watch 2NE1's Park Bom closely."
"Park Bom noona is a person who has her own distinctive world. She has a unique charm to her to the point that you can't even describe her as 4D... Even while accepting the group living rules, she clearly shows her unique charms. Please check it out through the broadcast."

'You're Surrounded' released its third teaser which focuses less on the chase for criminals and more on the relationships between the main characters, especially that of those played by Lee Seung Gi and Go Ara.
Cha Seung Won's police force consisting of the two mentioned as well as Ahn Jae Hyun, and Park Jung Min, are off to a shaky start as they try to figure out how to be effective detectives. Lee Seung Gi and Go Ara, especially, seem to get into a love-and-hate relationship.
