10 Idols That Pull Off Crazy Hair: Red Edition

We see a lot of trends come and go when it comes to K-pop fashion.  However, there is one hair color that makes its way onto the scene every season: red.  Now, while this trend may flop on some, this is hardly the case for K-pop idols--we see many instances of K-pop artists looking fabulous with red hair.  So, let's check out the 10 that made my list of idols that can pull this off!

===

B2ST Kikwang

When I think of red hair, one of the first K-pop artists that come to mind is Kikwang. He always looks great regardless of how he styles his hair--from a perm to red, he's always looking sharp.  Kikwang has a strong stage presence, and red adds an extra fire to his image as he kills the stage with his dance moves.  Color is always a nice change up, and this particular color fits him nicely (even when he's making aegyo faces that match his bubbly personality)!

SISTAR Bora

SISTAR's Bora has such a likable face that it would be hard to find a look that didn't suit her.  Red hair is no exception as she rocks all shades of red flawlessly. Although bright red looks great on her, the dark red hair she had during the, "Give It To Me," promotions were arguably her best look yet.  Her soft features compliment the color nicely.

U-Kiss Hoon

When U-Kiss's Hoon came out with his new red hair, it was definitely a nice treat.  It gives him a more masculine vibe--he still has the same pure-looking face with a new added element to it.  As a main vocalist for U-Kiss, red adds an extra pop allowing him to stand out on stage. Red compliments Hoon's image, and I'm looking forward to what new looks he has for us coming up.

After School Jooyeon

After School's Jooyeon first caught my eye when she had red hair.  She looks gorgeous, and a little bit exotic, with the color.  Her hair especially matched the groups concept/stage outfits for "First Love" perfectly, especially with the half-cornrows. She has a gorgeous face that exudes innocence, so red adds the perfect amount of edge that fits the fierce K-pop idol image she portrays.

B1A4 Jinyoung

I don't know whether it's because B1A4's Jinyoung is my bias, but I swear this guy looks great with any color hair (well blonde and red at least).  I guess it's hard to go wrong with a face like his, but especially during their "Beautiful Target" days (check out the Japanese version's MV), his red hair added another element.  Red adds just the right amount of playfulness and youth to his look.

2NE1 Park Bom

2NE1's Park Bom looks great with all types of hair styles.  One color that she seems to repeat often is red--probably because red suits her extremely well. The bright red fits the edginess of 2NE1, and it gives her a feminine and badass look at the same time, which also embodies her stage image and presence. Red is the perfect fit to her strong unique vocals.

Big Bang G-Dragon

G-Dragon always manages to find his spot on these sorts of lists, but considering he's one of Korea's leading fashion icons, this should come as no surprise to anyone.  Even when he rocks red hair, he styles his hair in all sorts of crazy ways.  From the all-red bright do to his horn-do in "Monster," he knows how to artistically create new styles and looks. He is a fireball when he performs on stage, and red suits his passionate personality he performs with.

f(x) Krystal

Anyone that can pull off red hair even brighter than Pippi Longstocking deserves an award.  I was a little shocked when I first saw Krystal's hair in the f(x) teasers for "Rum Pum Pum," but definitely got used to the look as the promotions went on.  Krystal's look is so versatile that she looks good with any hair color, and red is no exception.  She knows how to tone down her outfits to really make her hair act as a statement accessory.

EXO Luhan

EXO Luhan is so cute with his big eyes; he reminds me of an anime character.  He definitely stands out (even more so than his other group mates), with red hair.  It adds the slightest flair, giving him an edgy yet continuously adorable look at the same time.  And when he styles it (like he did in the left image), he looks extra sophisticated as well!

Girls' Generation Tiffany

Girls' Generation's Tiffany looks super happy in the middle image above and she is my #1 on this list. This girl definitely deserves the top spot when it comes to red hair.  She looks so glamorous--she's like a real life version of Ariel.  This girl knows fashion, and she definitely rocks red hair like a true fashionista. The dark red color she's been rocking goes great with her porcelain face, making her look flawless as usual.

And that rounds out the top 10.  Did your bias make it on the list?  Who did I leave out? Comment below!

EXO reveal their thoughts on what it was like to prepare for the concert after Kris's lawsuit, their future goals, & more during press conference

Before their final night of their first solo concert in Korea, the members of EXO sat down to answer some questions and reveal their thoughts at a press conference.

The most pressing question on the minds of the reporters was of course regarding the lawsuit filed by Kris and his absence at the concert.

Regarding this, some of the members carefully spoke about their reaction to the situation and what it was like to prepare for the concert. EXO-K's leader Suho commented, "During that time, we were just mostly shocked, and as it was a time period right before the concert, all the members were hurting not only physically but emotionally as well... But because of this, we were able to unite even stronger to prepare for the concert, and as we strengthened our teamwork, we successfully concluded two days of the concert [so far]."

Chanyeol also added, "At first it was very confusing and we worried a lot about whether we would be able to show fans a perfect stage... So we talked among ourselves a lot and practiced even more... As we practiced, we were able to strengthen our unity and produce a more perfect stage."

Baekhyun expressed his grateful heart, sharing, "It was hard changing the music or the choreography, but I think the choreographers, the managers, and the staff had an even harder time than us... I'm also proud and thankful of the members for getting through it well."

"There is a saying 'the ground gets harder after the rain', and like this, it seems like the members were able to come together and become even stronger," Chen stated.

Regarding the mixed reactions that have come about, Lay expressed honestly, "We also did an interview with a Chinese media outlet before. This happening is upsetting. If there is something I was hurt and disappointed by, it's that fans were picking sides due to weird rumors and misunderstandings had come about. I hope things like this won't happen again and that we can be an EXO who are one."

Luhan added, "I think the part about this situation that touched me the most is that even though this happened a week before the concert and the stage and choreography had to be all redone, a perfect stage was able to be produced. So I was really moved by that."

When asked about his tears spilled during the first day of the concert, Suho revealed that it was due to once again realizing the love of fans and the strength that he gains from it. "My birthday was on the first concert day... We had a party with the fans and tears did form in my eyes... I suddenly felt happy... Recently I had been wondering about what happiness is... but I think I found my answer through the fans... I also realized that the greatest happiness is that the EXO members and the fans are in this together. Although it was something I've already known, I couldn't help but tear up."

Regarding their future goals and their popularity in China, Tao responded, "We are popular, but I don't think that we are perfect yet... I think we still have a lot that we're lacking in... EXO will work hard and promote as 11 members... We won't stop and we will put in all our efforts and work hard to become a #1 group in Asia and beyond."

Kai also stated, "As we were preparing for this concert, I wondered whether we'd be able to fill up this stadium. But after adding a third day beyond the initial two days, my dream grew bigger. I know that a lot of fans weren't able to come see us, so I hope that we will be able to hold a concert at the Sangam World Cup Stadium in the future... I was really surprised to hear that we would be adding another date, and I thought 2 days wasn't enough time before, so I was really happy to add another day to meet with even more fans."

After wrapping up their Seoul concert at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium later today, EXO is said to be planning a tour visiting several cities in Asia including those in China, as well as Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
